It’s Easy To Imagine This Elegant & Timeless little beauty had once been passed down mother to daughter and at some point a small lug was added in order to continue wearing it as a wristwatch. However, it can still be easily worn as a pendant watch.
This watch currently tells time, losing a few minutes every 12 hours.
The watch back case has been tested 10KT gold measuring ~ 1” x 1”. The watch face reads Delmar, the case itself reads Star W.C.C. & inside works are Frey 15 jewels 3 adjustments. This mix of components was apparently common for the early 1900s watch makers. The band is a gold tone stretch band that unlatches off the bottom lug and measures ~ 6 1/2”. Watch and band weigh 21.3 grams.
